What we collect

When you send an enquiry by form, phone, email or WhatsApp we collect the details you give us, such as your name, company, phone number, email address, job postcode and information about the work.

If you accept cookies, we also collect basic information about how you reached and used the site, such as which advert you clicked.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes, arrange surveys and carry out any work you book with us. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.

We do not sell your information and we do not add you to marketing lists without asking.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google Ads to measure which adverts lead to enquiries. Google only sets advertising cookies on your device if you accept them in our cookie banner. If you reject them, Google may still receive limited information that does not identify you. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Google processes this data under its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with service providers who help us run the business, such as our website and email hosting, Google (for advert measurement) and WhatsApp if you contact us there, or where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not go ahead are kept for up to two years. Records for work we carry out are kept for as long as we need them for legal, insurance and accounting purposes, normally six years.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email info@strscaffolding.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
